Greetings

Allow me first to express my gratitude to the people behind the success of this event. The Department enjoys your company as you provide a broader picture of how a country and its sectors should address power, integrated and straightforward. To witness this is an honor for our part and more than anything else a pride to our industry since it signifies that different entities are already discovering the importance of power to the over-all productivity of the industries.

This 2 MW solar plant is just one of the projects in the country that espouses solar energy. We already had a lot but this will never stop as we are creating an active and vigorous RE industry within the reach of all. With this technology being adapted in several ways such as in rooftops among others, there is already a growing trend where Filipinos are getting exposed to new energy sources understanding its viability and abundance in our nation.

I hope that this event will not be the end of our future plans. We still have a lot of projects and initiatives. The sector needs your interests and endeavors. Let us continue to collaborate in creating an energy efficient nation.

On behalf of the Department of Energy, congratulations on this new beginning and we hope for your continued support to our sector.
